Sign10X is an affordable electronic signature platform for signing, sending, and managing documents online. Here is exactly what happens between uploading a PDF and downloading the signed copy.
How online document signing works
1. Upload your PDF
Drag in the document you want signed. Sign10X analyses every page immediately — existing PDF form fields, text positions, underlines, boxes and signature blocks — and suggests where fields belong.
2. Add your recipients
Enter a name and email for each person, choose their role, and decide whether they sign in a set order or all at once.
3. Place the fields
Review the suggested fields, then drag, resize or add signature, initial, date, name, email, text, checkbox and dropdown fields. Mark the ones that are required.
4. Send for signature
Each recipient receives an email with their own secure signing link. Nothing is shared publicly and links are unique per person.
5. Track progress
Watch delivery, views and signatures in real time. Send a reminder, extend the expiration or cancel the request if plans change.
6. Download the signed document
The completed PDF is generated with all values stamped in place, alongside a downloadable audit trail of who did what and when.
What the signer sees
The recipient opens their personal link, agrees to sign electronically, and is guided through the fields assigned to them. They can type a signature, draw it with a finger or mouse, or upload an image. Required fields must be completed before submitting, and the whole flow is designed for phones as well as laptops.
What gets recorded
Sign10X keeps an append-only trail for each request: when it was created and sent, when each recipient received, opened and signed it, and when it completed — with timestamps and technical signals such as IP address and user agent where appropriate.
