DocuSign alternative
An affordable alternative to traditional e-signature platforms.
Sign10X is an affordable electronic signature platform for signing, sending, and managing documents online. If you are comparing e-signature tools, this page lays out what Sign10X is, what it costs, what it can do, and who it suits.
What is Sign10X?
Sign10X is a web-based e-signature platform. You upload a PDF, place the fields each person has to complete, and send it for signature. Recipients sign from their own secure link in the browser — on a phone, tablet or laptop — without installing anything or creating an account. When everyone is finished, Sign10X produces the signed PDF with all values stamped in place, plus a downloadable audit trail.
Why businesses use Sign10X
The usual reason is cost predictability without giving up capability. Paid plans start at $9.99 a month, the free plan sends real documents rather than only trialling them, and the parts often reserved for premium tiers elsewhere — the template library and the electronic signature API — are available broadly. Teams also value that uploaded PDFs are analysed automatically, so preparing a document is minutes of review rather than manual field placement from scratch.
What you get with Sign10X
A free plan that actually sends documents
5 envelopes per month at $0, with no credit card. The signing experience, templates, tracking and audit trail are the same as on paid plans.
Predictable low pricing
Starter $9.99, Business $19.99, Professional $39.99 per month, with 70, 200 and 600 envelopes respectively. Yearly billing saves 20%. Enterprise volume is quoted.
Templates on every plan
A large library of U.S. business documents plus your own reusable templates — not reserved for a higher tier.
API access on every paid plan
REST API, API keys with test/production separation, rate limits and usage tracking, plus JavaScript, Python and PHP SDKs.
Embedded signing
Create a short-lived session and host the signing screen inside your own product, so your users never leave your app.
Webhooks
Signed event deliveries for request and recipient lifecycle events, with retries and delivery history.
Automatic field detection
Uploaded PDFs are analysed deterministically — form fields, text coordinates, underlines, boxes, tables and signature blocks, with OCR for scans — and suggested fields are yours to review.
Security and audit trail
Private storage with short-lived signed links, per-organization row-level isolation, role-based access and an append-only audit log you can download per request.
Sign10X pricing
Five plans, priced by how many envelopes you send. An envelope is one document sent for signature, to one or more recipients.
Sign10X vs traditional e-signature platforms
The Sign10X column below is a description of our own product. The right-hand column describes common packaging patterns in the category in general terms — it is not a claim about any specific vendor. Always check a competitor's current published plans yourself.
| Dimension | Sign10X | Traditional platforms (general pattern) |
|---|---|---|
| Entry cost | Free plan with 5 envelopes per month, no credit card | Free trials are common; ongoing free sending is often unavailable — check the vendor's current plans |
| Pricing model | Flat monthly plans by envelope volume, 20% off yearly | Commonly per-user seats with envelope allowances — varies by vendor |
| Templates | Library and custom templates on all plans, free included | Template capabilities are frequently tied to higher tiers — verify per vendor |
| API access | Included on every paid plan from $9.99 | Often a separate developer or business tier — verify per vendor |
| Embedded signing | Included with API access | Usually available; packaging differs by vendor |
| Audit trail | Downloadable per completed request on all plans | Generally provided; scope differs by vendor |
Who Sign10X is for
- Small businesses that send a handful of agreements a month and do not want a per-seat enterprise contract
- Sales, HR, legal and operations teams that reuse the same documents constantly
- Agencies, consultants and freelancers who need contracts signed quickly
- Real estate, healthcare administration and financial services teams handling forms and disclosures
- Product and engineering teams embedding signing into their own SaaS application
Security and audit trail
Documents are kept in private storage and reached only through short-lived signed links. Every record belongs to one organization and is enforced with database row-level security, not browser checks. Roles are owner, admin, member and viewer. Sensitive activity is written to an append-only audit log, and each completed request has a trail you can download with the signed PDF. Full detail is on the Sign10X security page.
